This work was made for the National Eisteddfod of Wales Arts pavilion at Meifod Montgomeryshire. The work celebrates the land beneath our feet, Celebrating Mid Wales landscape at the home of the Eisteddfod that year, however, this carpet is not to be trampled on. Respect is asked of the audience for what is beneath our feet.
The work reminds us of the urgent environment issues
The wool came from the farm where I live in Mid Wales, was dyed in the kitchen, combed and made on sight as a floor drawing.
