3 month Residency at Centre for alternative Technology, Machynlleth Wales.
Table tennis table surfaced with digital world map.
Film
Residency included input from community and work became a social sculpture.
Participants discussed environmental issue and during a practical workshop made a map of the
world in clay tiles, with no borders between country’s suggesting that we are all in this together.
Environmental issues where incorporated visually into the map before casting into plaster. The
digitised plaster tiles became the image that surfaced the table tennis table.
The film was an image of an egg time, where a hand turns the timer around for continuation. The
film referenced urgency for the next generation.
